Fort Whoop-Up and the Galt Museum & Archives engage and educate our communities in the human history of southwestern Alberta by preserving and sharing collections, stories and memories that define our collective identity and guide our future.
The fort and museum welcome over 10,000 students, teachers, parents and caregivers through their education programs every year. Thousands more people participate in the weekly public programs throughout the year. These programs have received national and international recognition over the years.
The Friends of the Galt Museum & Archives collect donations on behalf of the fort and museum. These donations are crucial to continuing to offer these high-quality opportunities for residents and visitors to learn about and interact with the human history of southwestern Alberta.

As a non-profit group, the Friends of the Galt Society graciously accepts financial support from local individuals, families, and organizations in southern Alberta. Your donation will help us create cultural, educational programs for youth in southern Alberta.
Donors are eligible to receive a charitable tax receipt for their donation.
